- Hadar Tsarfaty is a London-based artist recognised by the UK under the Global Talent route. She holds an MA in Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art, London, and a BA in Fine Arts (cum laude) from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam.
In her work, Hadar Tsarfaty considers the embodiment of language in material, working predominantly with screen printing on textile. As this embodiment is a possibility for public negotiation, while in its immediate presence it suggests a private expression, the work reflects on the connection between the written and the spoken. When presenting such works, audiences take the role of the speaker of these works.
